I love to hike and be out in nature, so every month on the 3rd Sunday I pick a trail to hike in Orange County. My goal for leading these hikes is to get people more active, even outside the studio. These hikes are open to everyone, whether you’re a member or not, so feel free to join us anytime and bring a friend. We provide a friendly face and organize the hikes so that all you need to do is show up with some good walking shoes, a hat and water.
With warmer weather is coming so the mornings are nice and cool and great to get out and discover a new part of Orange County. Who knew we had so much open space to enjoy! So far we’ve hiked at Peter’s Canyon, Santiago Oaks Regional Park and our latest at Shady Canyon Trail off Sand Canyon.
On Sunday, April 10th we completed our 3rd monthly hike at Shady Canyon Trail in Irvine. This was our longest hike to date at 5.6 miles and the trail was pleasant with a few nice inclines to get the heart pumping. We got lucky that it didn’t rain and had a beautiful crisp morning to enjoy the hike.
