20151220_180218I love quick, simple, and healthy snacks for my crazy weeks. I found these on Pinterest and decided to give it a try.

How can you resist a 3 ingredient recipe??

I always try to look for local, organic and raw foods when possible, so if you can find any or all of these 3 ingredients organic, raw, or from your local farmers market, even better!

Ingredients:

1 cup Pistachios

1 cup Dried Cherries

1 cup Pitted Dates

Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until mixed well. Place a piece of parchment paper in a 8 x 8 pan and press the mixture in the pan. Place in freezer 15-20 min to firm up, then cut into pieces.

The best part….. you can pick your favorite fruit/ nut combination to make these to your liking and no cooking is required. Doesn’t get any easier than this, so get to (not) cooking these babies up!
